Hi all, I have a pair of female rabbits (spayed) that I re homed 3 years ago. No problems, some low level humping but that’s it. Today I’ve noticed one of them has a wound near the back of her neck so I’m assuming the other has done it, but they seem fine together. I have since seen the other one licking it. I am taking them for a vet check tomorrow but wondering what I do if this is a dominance thing? They live in a shed with run at night time, and in the day free roam in the garden…so I... Hi bunny lovers I’m on holiday right now and won’t be back until Monday evening (22nd) Yesterday morning my sister phoned to say that one of my bunnies that’s shes pet sitting for me has passed away in a rather traumatising way. I only got her in April and had loved her very much. By the time I get back home I still she will have become too smelly and gross for end of life cuddles. How do you guys mourn bunnies you can’t be with? Thanx ..read more

I have a neutered brother and sister (different litters so he’s 9 months). He is REALLY furry!!! and not that bothered about being super clean but he has to lick himself loads. His sister has only a small amount of silky fur. She grooms him and then he tries to groom her. BUT he about licks her head off coz he forgets she isn’t a big furry pompom. They have lots of space and toys. Vet has checked them both n given us some cream for her. She’s suggested separating them (just until she loses... Rabbit grooming ..read more

Hello! we got a new 5 month old dwarf that won't eat his hay. We put it in the cage but he doesn't really eat it. The breeder we got him from fed him on pellets. And this is pretty much what he eats mostly, pellets. Is this bad? What do we do? Am I supposed to limit the amount of pellets I give him, should that force him to eat the hay? What exactly do we do? Thanks in advance for your replies ..read more

A few months ago a bought a pair of rabbits that I was told “ sister”. last night one of them stated stealing my clothes and gathering hay clearly trying to make a nest. I gave her plenty of hay and some old blankets and this morning she’s pulled out her fur and made a nest in the corner of her cage. I’ve split up the rabbits and I’m looking for advice on how to care for the babies that I assume will be here very soon ..read more

Hi there, first time bunny bonder here! And could really use some help/advice on where to go from here. On April 6th I officially started my bonding journey (24/7 method) For some background I have 2 fixed buns Arizona (free-roam female) and Phoenix (part free-roam/xpen male) the past couple months we’ve “pre bonded” them through Phoenix’s pen, every night they’ve eaten together, swapped litter boxes, and napped together through the bars. So I took the step to start bonding in a neutral... Bonding Advice ..read more

Hi, I’ve just noticed that my youngest bunny, Annie has no fur on her tummy? She’s not got any redness or rash, she’s also not made a nest (so not been pulling it out to build one) Anyone have any idea what’s causing this? She’s active and eating an drinking and pooping fine. Just noticed it today, I’ve been away for a week. My dad was pet sitting and he never mentioned noticing anything ..read more

In December 21 we got 3 bunnies, 2 sisters at 13 weeks and another girl (11 wks) and they very successfully bonded and have been happy ever since. Sadly one of the sisters died in November quite suddenly, we were devistated. After a few weeks we decided that we were ready to introduce a 3rd bunny back (we have 3 kids/3 bunnies). "Nibbles" was 16 weeks old when we brought him home, but was 20 weeks before he was neutered and we started the bonding process. (The girls are also both neutered)...
