My rabbit gave birth unexpectedly last Tuesday. Unfortunately one kit died but we have 2 remaining. One looks a lot smaller than the other, I'm not sure if he is a peanut or just the runt. I think mum is feeding them both although the bigger one has much rounder belly. The smaller one does have more fur though. Any thoughts ..read more

Rabbit Welfare Concern

I'm no rabbit expert, and it's been years since we had a rabbit, which were given free run of the garden. I see these rabbits every month and feel so sorry for them. There doesn't seem to be adequate bedding or enrichment of any kind. I arrived early this morning, it was -2 degrees and frosty and I'm not seeing much in the way of bedding to keep them warm. Is there a real concern here? One worth reporting to the RSPCA ..read more

Hi everyone, We really need your help, we're at our wits end!! Our lionhead, Barnaby, has a relentless habit of chewing skirting and digging at the carpet! It's getting to the point where it's causing arguments between my partner and I - yes, that bad! Barnaby and Moomin have free run of the house when Mr and I are home (afternoons and weekends) and free run of the garden when the weather is nice. They have constant access to fresh hay, all of the toys every pet shop in the vicinity... Skirting and carpet damage - HELP ..read more

Hello all ?? We have two bonded bunnies. A buck (3yrs) and a doe (1.5yrs). Both neutered as babies. Bonded properly and slowly. The are house bunnies who live in our big kitchen. They've been living together happily together for about 1.25 years now, sometimes have a little chase/scuffle but not often and also started by her- she's the submissive one. During the bonding process, you could tell they both really wanted to be the dominant one but after a long time, she gave in. So pur problem... Help with bonded pair ..read more

Hi all, I'm new to this so hope this is the right place to post this. Urgently need some advice for my bunny. I have two 8 month old mini lops and they live outside in separate hutches. Fudge has developed really sore front feet, the skin on the soles of his feet are red and can't see much fur on them. He keeps the left one up in the air constantly as it must be painful to put down on the ground. Took him to vets and they have no idea what it is they have given him steroids and told us... bunny with sore front feet ..read more

I have made my first video for YouTube where I speak about my George who died this week. He was 10 years 2 months. I have a big rabbit shaped hole in my heart. Please can anyone speak about their rabbit losses as I feel dog and cat owners don't understand how intelligent they are. I feel others are judgmental to rabbits. My video is here to click on YouTube if interested Thank you Oliver ..read more
