Hi There We sadly lost our Rabbit yesterday and at this moment in time are not in an emotional frame of mind to think about getting another one or if we ever will?? On one hand we are afraid of getting hurt again but on the other we want to give a rabbit lots of love that we know it will appreciate. Can any of you advise on what is the best to do with the Hutch? Can we put another Rabbit in it in a few months or do they not like living in a previously used hutch? Obviously we will... Hutch Advice after losing a rabbit ..read more

I work in a school, a rabbit is kept there in a cage, alone, with people sometimes coming to see it but not enough. The rabbit supposedly serves an educational purpose. Me and one of the other staff clipped his nails a while ago and two of his claws are twisted around. We said to the leadership that he needs a vet appointment but I've not heard anything about it since. There's always this door slamming constantly, dozens of times per day, right next to the open door of the room that he... Rabbit at my workplace isnt being looked after ..read more

My rabbit gave birth unexpectedly last Tuesday. Unfortunately one kit died but we have 2 remaining. One looks a lot smaller than the other, I'm not sure if he is a peanut or just the runt. I think mum is feeding them both although the bigger one has much rounder belly. The smaller one does have more fur though. Any thoughts ..read more

Rabbit Welfare Concern

I'm no rabbit expert, and it's been years since we had a rabbit, which were given free run of the garden. I see these rabbits every month and feel so sorry for them. There doesn't seem to be adequate bedding or enrichment of any kind. I arrived early this morning, it was -2 degrees and frosty and I'm not seeing much in the way of bedding to keep them warm. Is there a real concern here? One worth reporting to the RSPCA ..read more

Hi everyone, We really need your help, we're at our wits end!! Our lionhead, Barnaby, has a relentless habit of chewing skirting and digging at the carpet! It's getting to the point where it's causing arguments between my partner and I - yes, that bad! Barnaby and Moomin have free run of the house when Mr and I are home (afternoons and weekends) and free run of the garden when the weather is nice. They have constant access to fresh hay, all of the toys every pet shop in the vicinity... Skirting and carpet damage - HELP ..read more

Hello all ?? We have two bonded bunnies. A buck (3yrs) and a doe (1.5yrs). Both neutered as babies. Bonded properly and slowly. The are house bunnies who live in our big kitchen. They've been living together happily together for about 1.25 years now, sometimes have a little chase/scuffle but not often and also started by her- she's the submissive one. During the bonding process, you could tell they both really wanted to be the dominant one but after a long time, she gave in. So pur problem... Help with bonded pair ..read more
