I don't know who engineers these things, but the clutch cable connect to the clutch pedal arm wouldn't hold up on 15 hp lawn mower. Mine failed at 405 hours. 10 cent clip fell off the cable connect pin and the clutch spring landed at my feet. Pin was worn. Can't imagine what it would look like at 1000 or 2000 hours. Replaced the pin with a bolt and lock nut. The clutch cable bracket clip is also a 10 cent POS and fell apart when the cable slid out of the bracket. Went to the dealer to...

I changed the hydraulic motor under the steering column thinking it would solve the power steering fluid leak on the cab floor. Restarted tractor, and power steering fluid is pouring from underneath the cab. I see that the lines/pipes are no longer available according to Messicks webpage.
I’m at a loss as to the procedure for replacing the lines IF they are leaking. I can’t tell where the fluid is coming from exactly.
Is there a hydraulic specialty company that can make the lines...

Any ideas on the 2098 code. What I can find is an electronic issue with the dump valve. I replaced the coil on the valve and still have the issue. Fine when cool, as it gets to operating temp it will code. Self clears after a few minutes. Example, 20 bales to unload and stack, on bale 17 it coded. Coded 5 more times on the last 3 bales. Next day same thing only coded on bale 16. Dealer says it’s electrical but I’m not so sure. Only other symptoms is hydraulic pressure/flow drops off as it...

2012 Boomer 30. Suddenly stopped found the weights in the governor trashed. Replaced with new and rebuilt, now it won’t start. Bled fuel forever and all the air is out. Disabled the coils and put ether in and it runs but alas, it won’t start on its own. Any suggestions? Much appreciated ..read more

Hi
New to this forum. I have a NH TC 35D that has a temp gauge that recently started going to max shortly after starting (sooner than it would have time to heat up ). On occasion a few toggles of the key and it returns to normal. Temp sensor was replaced with no change. Any ideas on aftermarket gauge as factory is nearly $400. Are there resistance measurements that I can check on the gauge or cluster pins?
Thanks in advance ..read more

Hi, New to this forum.
I have a New Holland TC40D tractor purchased in 2003. The original battery has finally died. My problem is finding a replacement. The original is a Deka 1024DT. That battery is no longer manufactured nor does there seem to be direct alternative. I have looked online and gone to an NH and Case dealership both with no success. The issue is that the battery tray hold downs on the tractor are on the ends not the sides and are 10" apart. Do any of you know of a replacement...
