This is my first attempt at writing for a wind quintet.  It's in a style that leans closer to the 20th century than a lot of what I write, particularly in using quartal and quintal harmonies.  It's in four movements, about twenty minutes long altogether, but even if you just want to listen to one of the movements, I'd appreciate any comments or feedback.  Thanks! As the Halloween season gets closer, I always find myself wanting to make more suspenseful or horror sounding tracks. Today, I bring one of those to you! I've only worked on it tonight. But, as it sounds so far I am rather happy with it. Open to changing and improving it, so I would love some feedback! For me, it sounds like it plays under a suspenseful chase or confrontation. I'd intended this as one of two entries for the competition. It's an earlier composition - tonal and easy going. Except don't try to waltz to it without knowing there are a couple of extra beats injected here and there! I  also wrote another, an Invocation and Dance with the dance bit very much in the Latin vein but paused when I learned the contest was cancelled. Besices, it overran the 3 minutes. So I'm pruning it back a bit and will submit it once "finished" (as finished as it ever will be).  While the score is complete it needs a little more work.
