I run in SG mode and the internal HD4000 handles Windows and the GTX kicks in for a game or 2. I have an Area 51 from circa 2007 I guess. It has been great and I love the case, of course. The HDs have been upgraded along the way to a nice SSD system disk and a couple of larger HDs. The Graphics card has been upgraded and I have dual Dell 24" monitors which still work just great. But soon it will be time to upgrade the insides to something more modern. Just got a new (to me) M18x R2, replaced the hard drives and memory and did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro. I installed all of the drivers from the Dell site and also killer_bluetooth_4_0_0_419_win7_driver, and this is what I'm left with in Device Manager. Anyone have a good idea of what additional "Bluetooth Peripheral Devices" that Windows might be detecting and where I can find the drivers for these? Anyone familiar with this ..read more

I just got a Alienware Graphics Amplifier yesterday, all cables were included and was able to put in my spare RX 580 in there and works pretty good on my laptop, but the graphics card that i put in there ain't the greatest as even though it is a 8 gig RX 580, the graphics are pretty choppy and always have been even in my Macpro 2009 model. what would be the best Graphics card for that bad boy so i can start playing some good games on the laptop? i thought maybe a GTX 1080ti? or if you guys... Hey folks, I've seen some good info on here while researching my quest to keep my M17xR4 from 2012 alive. This old machine was a gift-to-self following my wedding back in the day, so it has some sentimental value, plus it has served as my vehicle OBD machine so I have quite a bit of software configured on it that I'd like to keep alive.
