I have a 2017 Q70S. One side of upper dashboard at lower windshield has begun squeaking when going over some bumpy roads. Sounds like popping. The dealer service advisor this past week says it's most likely a deformity of the plastic where the windshield defroster vent meets the upper dashboard that makes this annoying squeak on many road surfaces when driving. Told me there are online videos on how to fix using painters tape or felt cushioning. Does anyone out there have the remedy ..read more

I have a 2012 QX56 w/ 56K miles. The car has not started (or hesitated) twice now in the morning. I come from an automotive background so I've performed the necessary diagnosis (multi meter, load tester, current draw.) Battery seems to be ok but I noticed that the alternator runs at 14.4v at initial startup then drops to 13v within 30 seconds. So my car has a misfire that is causing it to rumble badly, drive sluggishly, etc. The shop I went to said that I need new spark plugs and ignition coils. They also mentioned my valve cover was leaking oil and needed to be replaced. 1. I found replacement spark plugs and ignition coils on eBay that were much, much cheaper than what I can find elsewhere. The shop has extremely positive reviews, but I'm still skeptical. Hi, I have a Infinity QX50 and I am adding a dashcam using a hardwire kit. I am going to use 2 fuse taps to get my accessory and constant power for the dashcam. The fuse box is located under the hood on my mode, so I was going to route the wires thru the firewall. Does this sound to you guys? hello, i recently bought a q45 its in good condition but it has a issue with a noise that kinda sounds like a low pitch screeching or somewhat of a metal noise when turning the steering wheel all the way to the left or right, i thought it could be the power steering pump, but the pump looks like it has no issues the car had no steering fluid when i got it i refilled it but the car is still making that noise it also only sounds when the car is on drive, the steering wheel isnt hard to turn... Has anyone tried DIY replacing the brake booster in their I35? I was able to unbolt it from the firewall and detach it from the brake pedal. But was unable to pull it out. I removed the master brake cylinder. There still was not enough clearance. There were 4 or 5 metal tubes attached to some component that got in the way.
