Hi Folks, So, I have an old P8H77-I, it was running like a top until I went to put 16Gb of DDR3 in it. To do so, I went to update the bios from 0904 to the last 1102 from the support page. It read the file ok from the USB stick, and then rebooted with POST error beep(s). 2-beeps indicating a parity check. So I replaced the memory (I now have 3 sets of DDR3 on my desk) and no-dice. Does anyone here have this board and has the Thunderbolt working? It's baffling that it doesn't work straight away. Thunderbolt Control Center shows 2 ports, and that is it. My motherboard has a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, I think it should go to 1000mbps but windows 10 shows it only going to 100mbps. I have 500mbps fios but all speed tests show less than 100mbps. Hopefully there is a way to configure the Realtek controller. If anyone knows how to do this I would appreciate the info ..read more
