Hello everybody, This week end, i just complete my dream PC. I baught a Z790 formul, asus RTX490OC, 64 Gb Gskill 7800 and i9-13900k. I am always trying to configure at maximum the bios but i have an issue with the XMP. Each time i try to use it, the PC not success to reboot and inform me it is in Safe mode. I have no choice to keep 4800Mhz on the RAM. I check the manual and see the 7800 are compatible with the motherboard. But the website inform only Team Group are accepted for 7800. Hello, I can't pin point if this may be a memory issue with the CPU memory controller or the motherboard memory slots, ill try to explain. I have 5800X and 4x8GB g-skill ddr4 3600MHz CL16 sticks and was running DOCP for almost 2 years now but recently I have been experiencing system restarts no BSODs just instant restarts. It seems recently, Microsoft has started requiring an internet connection during a Windows 11 install. If you can't get a network adapter to work, then you cannot install. I know there is a work-around but I was wondering if anyone had used the USB drive included with the Z790 Hero board to include those drivers so as to have Wi-Fi or Ethernet drivers available for the install? I might think you could add the drivers by pointing to the folder on the USB drive but I have not actually done that, so does anyone know the best way to get those drivers available so they could be used during the ini ..read more

Hi guys, Lots of info to be found on Google and this site regarding the 3080 series having idle fan issues. I recently bought a 3080 Strix 10GB, and the fans are always at 53%. I updated it to the lastest resize bar V5 vbios - and the issue persists. In MSI AB, if I adjust the fan below 45%, it causes them to go all the way to 0%. It seems like the fan curve settings are "off". Idle power useage is around 35-40 watts. I've seen if thats any higher, it causes the fans to start.. but its always consistently 53% at 1000 rpm. When I use steam to download the game, the network card loses traffic, then disable and re-enable the network card, everything is restored, I have two asus z790 extreme motherboards, both have the same problem, driver version 3.1.7. I know that aqc107 also has this kind of problem, but atiflash can't update the firmware of the latest aqc113cs. Hi. I have a question about about my scar 18 laptop. Does anybody who have this laptop have dsr option avaible? Before i own g703gxr with 2080 and when i switch it to dGpu i have dsr. But now even when i connect it to the external monitor doesn't show up. I tried my 4k monitor and my brother's 2k monitor and nothing it was connected via usb-c and i also tried it with hdmi.
