After resurrecting my '77 L245, things generally work fine (needs a new muffler, but that's coming.) I have always closed the fuel needle valve after parking it. Now if I do that and leave it closed for more than a day or so without using it, I have to bleed the fuel line at the injector pump. The few times that I have forgotten to close the valve, it starts right up. Since the fuel line is closed, replacement fuel can't flow in the event of a siphon through the pump. No noticeable... Hello 1st timer here . I have a mx5000 That ran away today... simply feeding bale of hay to cows and it revved up higher ever , out of control , turned off key no good . 2006 kubota mx5000 loader lift cylinder. Cylinder blew out in August. Hydraulic fluid poured out of Cylinder. Took it off the tractor and took it apart in the shop. Called kubota and picked up a seal kit for about 60 bucks if I remember right. It was the wrong kit. So called back and after about 20 mins on the phone I find out the correct kit is no longer available. Discontinued. What? I think I made a big mistake. My Friends L4310 hst tractor needed engine rebuild so we took it apart by splitting at the bell housing. When we moved the engine away from the back half of the tractor the shaft that couples with the front 4WD shaft moved out of the transmission. I reinserted the shaft and had a bit of a time getting it back in but it felt like it went back into place correctly. However when we got the tractor back together 4WD does not work. I have a Kubota M6 that I can't seem to unscrew the fuel filter. I have used a filter wrench (big pliers with teeth) and a bottom plate that goes on the bottom. It's a little cramped but I can get a pretty good bite with both but the filter won't budge. I have not punctured the filter (yet) so it is still functional.
