Hello, I still have my first smartphone, the above mentioned HTC Desire, that back in the day I rooted and installed Beanstalk 4.4+ on. I had set it up for non Google Apps using F-Droid and it is still fine for emails, messaging and basic communications. Is there anyone out there who knows of a more recent custom ROM for this device? ok so im trying to get control of the wifi txpower settings, i find that wifi is usin 23% overall power from the battery (not a battery complaint, with light usage i get 24 hours easy) but i would like to reduce the txpower, like you can on windows mobile devices by setting a performance vs power slider ive rooted, and used a terminal ive sudo and then tried iwconfig, but the command is not recognised, i suppose it would also help to know the interface im likely to be trying to edit, my... Hi, I have a Desire with a custom ROM on it, the system running from an SD card. The screen died in an instant with no apparent cause (the phone is working, because i got called and I could talk with the black screen).
