Finally made it to the Gulf Coast area, that's Orange Beach to be exact! For those that don't know this area is composed of coastal states that have a shoreline on the Gulf of Mexico are Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, and these are known as the Gulf States. Attended my sisters Birthday Brunch at Fogo de Chao Steakhouse in Dunwoody! It was my first time at this Perimeter location. I tried a little bit of this and that. I've been trying to find a place that does Lux pedicures and lo and behold my sister found a spot that was just in time for her Pre Birthday Celebration called Soak and Polish Nail Bar in Atlanta. When we arrived the nail bar had great sanitation practices in place and I appreciated being told to sanatize my hands before getting started. This past week I got the opportunity to see Tina Turner the Musical at the Fox theater Atlanta,GA. It was everything and more. As a young girl I was introduced to the voice of Tina Turner through my mom who was a fan. Whenever Tina's videos would come on tv I would run to get my moms red high heels and tie up her leather skirt and then I was ready to perform just like her. The musical did a fantastic job of highlighting Tina's childhood in Nutbush, TN and capturing her singing career. I was so busy the week of February 14th that I forgot to share what VDAY looked like over here. My sister put her talented hands and got to work on a Valentine Day charcuterie board. My sister used cranberry cheese and preserves and dried pineapples and Parmesan n garlic crackers that were pretty good! For those that don't know how popular charcuterie boards have become. Just now posting about what I did for my 45th Birthday! My Birthday fell on Martin Luther King Day and so I enjoyed that extra day to celebrate and this year I was took of from work. I started my morning of with a 45th celebration toast to me being here and raising a glass to my accomplishments of the year, and excited to know the best it yet to come.
