Saw a interesting post from Genos garage, there’s a bit of a shortage on the oem chassis mount filter. Apparently there’s a mopar made/approved in house chassis filter available, at least that’s the way I read it. Check it out;

Took my 2022 Ram 3500 HO to be smogged today. It failed due to the EGR monitor not being ready. the batteries have not been disconnected or gone dead. The truck has 4400 miles on it since it was the Y43 recall, and ECM flash was done.
Any ideas on what I could before I take it to the dealer 100 miles away ..read more

Call me crazy, but why doesn't someone make a kit for a fuel injector you could mount in a weld in bung in the exhaust pipe before the DPF to bypass the exhaust stroke injector sequence? If the factory programming triggers an extra injection of diesel into the cylinder for an auto regen on every exhaust stroke at 47% full. Why not use a Pi or other mini computer and an auxiliary fuel pump to manually inject just enough diesel into the exhaust just in front of the DPF to generate enough heat...

I’ve had my new 2024 Longhorn 2500 for a month. It came with a trailer camera witch I had Mounted in our camper and it plugs into the designated port on the bumper to the left of the license plate. The camera
Image comes up on the rearview mirror. But not on the aux2 screen on the dashboard monitor. The aux2 is just a blue screen and it’s my understanding that the camera image should come up on aux2. The Service department can’t seem to get it to work. Anyone else have this issue ..read more

Hey, I have a 2021 Ram 3500 with 65000 miles and I’ve had nothing but problems since I’ve gotten it. Something is always wrong with the emissions and the engine light is always going on and off. Also, now I have a problem getting diesel in the oil. Had the oil changed and it was 2.5 gal over full on a 5000 mile oil change. Took it to the Dodge place and they had me drive it another 1000 miles after they changed it to see where the oil level was. Took it back and then they put dye in the fuel...

22 Ram 2500 with under 9k miles that has been experiencing excessive regens. It is at the dealership again making the 4th attempt at the issue. This is the cold oil level taken after setting level. According to the dealership they consider it a “normal level”. It is so thin it will hardly stay on the stick and smells more like diesel than oil ..read more
