Some quick background: I sold my SS several weeks ago and bought a '19 Scat Pack as it's place holder until I decide what(if..) I'm going to replace it with. Nice car, 50k miles, clean CarFax. The other day the granddaughter and I make a quick run to the store in it. When I get there I realize I have no key fob with me to lock the doors. So we go in and do our thing and when we come out to head back home it fires right up again and off we go. No issues, no buzzers, no "fob not present"... I received 2 letters from Chrysler today,, wanting me submit to my cars for vehicle/dyno emissions testing. My cars would have about 100 additional dyno miles on them. The testing takes approx 5-8 weeks per vehicle. A fully insured loaner with unlimited mileage is included. Financial compensation seems to be more than fair, for 100 miles on my vehicle. 1.
