Good morning , I have a 2011 California , this morning I went out to it, tried to open the boot without success I had to open it with the key , then I tried to put the roof down and it wouldn't go , the rear window went up onto the roof then it stopped and I heard a bleep , so I went out in it , come back and it works fine . any ideas what could cause this and is it common ..read more

The small white adjustment parts on the back of the headlight housing unit on my 2002 360 are missing, preventing the ability to adjust the headlights. I have the connecting rods, but just not the one inch sized part that goes between the adjusting rod and the headlight unit. Apparently it does not have a part number, and i cant find any out there. Looks like i got the dreaded DCT failure. In my case the symptoms were a little different from many of the other reports I found here. 2011 458 Italia 11k miles On the day of the failure, the car would skip a little on light acceleration and was pretty rough with moderate acceleration. I tried switching it to snow mode at a stoplight and take off, but when giving light pedal press, the car made a clunk and would not go. No error lights on the dash. Car won’t engage any gears. Hello, I’m wondering if there’s any words of wisdom on shift rod alignment tools. Here’s a pic of something I used on the 308 boxes when I rebuild them so figured I’d make something like that which reaches to the upper shift rod. For the 308 the detents are held in by the pan so I made a tool that locked the rods in place… thinking maybe I need something like that here. What else should I be looking at here?
