Hi. I wanted to see if anyone has any information about spaying a yellow bellied slider. My turtle is 11 years old and has struggled with laying eggs over the years. She recently laid a clutch of non-fertilized eggs but I began to notice she was acting weird afterwards. She stopped basking and was extremely restless. She swimming around nonstop looking for food no matter how much I fed her. Hello,  I am interested in raising a pair of southern painted turtles.  I've done a ton of research, created a list of supplies, and have a plan for an established environment that will be safe for captive bred hatchlings when I'm ready.  I've been looking around at various reptile breeders online (My Turtle Store, Backwater Reptiles. I am a turtle owner since past 6 years and have raised a healthy RES. Until yesterday she was happily roaming the house as usual but today when i took her out she was dragging herself on 3 limbs. I tried touching and tickling the leg and it felt a bit numb. She is in perfect shape, isnt fat or skinny at all. Im worried as i read through the symptoms online which also mentioned possible MBD.
