I have a 2002 6 speed I just recently bought and was driving down the highway and it just died and won't start. I had no signs of issues before this happened i also now have the P0216 code. I haven't had time to troubleshoot much but I did notice I have no lift pump pressure with the key on or when turning it over. (Has a Fass). So my 6 speed 2001 regular cab is slowly rotting away and beyond the point of help. I have located a rust free cab from a 1500 gasser which I believe is a 98 or 97 auto. Will my interior from my truck fit in the new cab? I know that I will just be using the sheet metal from the new cab and putting all my wiring and other stuff in the new cab but I just was wondering if it would all fit in or if I need to find a cab made after 2000. Just finished my adaptor plate to mate my 2000 24v to the dodge ram ecodiesel 8hp You cannot buy this adaptor… before anyone says just buy it! I built the whole thing using the round hole that goes around the crank seal as the datum. Both the transmission and the 8hp bolt up perfectly! But… in fitting in turns out the centre hole that goes around the crank seal is NOT in the centre! When they drill the engine adaptor in the factory they obviously don’t use that as the bloody datum!
