I was sure there would have already been a thread somewhere on this subject.  Are the roads in the worst condition you’ve ever seen? Are they getting worse each year? Are the Councils/Local Authorities taking longer to repair them? I’m sure the answer to all the above is Yes Yes and Yes. We’ve all probably at some stage seen the results of tyre damage and cracked or broken alloys. Anyone who has tried making a claim may have got successful if they can be bothered with the long drawn out arduous form filling in, photos and emails. hey guys so amongst all the other dramas family has been going through our trusty 2005 bmw320d turbo went a few weeks back (after spending £600 getting it through mot) the guy i use for my van and the bmw (nothing precious goes to him) diagnosed turbo so i had a recon unit sent to me for him to fit, he expressed concern about not changing the oil feed pipes but everyone i spoke too including the guy who supplied me with the turbo said "can do if you want but just clean them with brake fluis or such like is what most ppl do). just a word of warning really. I needed 2 rear tyres for our Korean supermini and wanted the same to match the ones on the front axle that I had fitted 12 months ago. found them and ordered through the ATS website, booking a time slot a few days away. then get a phone call from the depot the next day saying they are not actually in stock, offering me an alternative.....all OK with that tbh, despite the website continuing to show these tyres as available. 2023 has gone from strength to strength already. I’m still awaiting the finality of my divorce - but that’s coming. Work is somewhat problematic due to transporting Alice to and from her studies in Malvern some 12 miles away - so it’s just gonna have to wait until she’s got her driving license later in the year. The work diary is however filling with future prospects - and it’s possible Danny will come on board as an apprentice. Cars….hmmmm well…….I’ve been enjoying the Evora during the autumn and winter.
