Fallout just got renewed for a Season 2 just days after being released. They used the binge watch formula and it was successful. So as I mentioned on my profile yesterday, Cat City was recently released on both Blu-ray and Prime, after being rather hard to come by for decades. This film is so good. It's from 2019, but I had never heard of it before. The animation and music are beautiful, the plot is simple but original (a bit Ghibli-like). I think the bears are animated in 2D CGI and the humans and backgrounds in traditional 2D animation. And I don't mean in adult cartoons, they have plenty of them already, I mean in cartoons aimed at more general audiences. In recent history, protagonists in animated series have been kind-hearted and compassionate individuals. Some even have a strict, self-imposed rule against killing. I know, I know. This is quite subjective (and a bit objective to an extent). I understand that cartoons that are 20-30 years old will have at least a few differences from today's cartoons.
