Are ADs discounting Panerai's again?

It's no secret that the watch market is cooling. Prior to this nonsense, I was offered - pretty readily - some reasonable discounts on PAMS. I've been feeling acquisitive lately and I'm thinking a few Panerais as a possible candidate. The Richemont price increases have been absurd of late - so I'm suspicious that they'll be the first to get hit once ADs realize the glory days are over. Any insights ..read more

P. 4000 gmt movement (946, 658 etc).

Hey guys Interested in adding a gmt to my sub but been itching for a Pam (even before I bought my sub). I'm really liking 946/658 gmt radiomirs that are true gmt (full 24 hr with am/pm indicator). It won't be my daily (my sub is fully reserved for that..lol!). Are Panerai in-house movements as good as Rolex/Omega? The 45mm case size is not an issue for me as I used to wear a Seiko tuna for 3 years+ as a daily (and a Breitling chrono before that!). My main push towards the Pam is the... Hello all, Have across a nice PAM01304. Just wanted to get the forums thoughts on it please? I've not seen any online / no reviews available too, is there a reason why there is not much online about this model? Was it not very popular? Is the reference number PAM01304 only for the green 40mm model or did they come in other colours too ..read more

I have been on a wishlist for two years with a second-hand dealer who located a PAM00061 for me, I forgot about it but pulled the trigger and I’ll pick it up next week, paid for sight unseen but I forgot what they looked like until I googled it. I’ve never had a “Marina” and I’m excited to finally have one that’s different enough from my 000 to not feel redundant I suppose. How do they look in person, the brushed case and brown dial? I committed before even remembering what I bought but I’ll... Luminor Marina Titanium PAM00061 ..read more

Recently purchased a 1358, not a forum favourite but I like it. Ideal world, the fabulous OEM straps would include a grey option. I like their soft high quality feel. Not to be - is there advice on a Grey (not alligator) Leather option which looks and feels like the OEM. Has to be grey, preferably not distressed. I have tried searching however would appreciate steering as opposed to selecting from internet photos. Thank you in advance ..read more

Picked up a 1335 blue dial today and love it! I normally wear heavier watches (Omega, Rolex Deep Sea) but absolutely love this watch! Of course I've only been wearing it for about 8 hours, but so far, it's really cool. The simplicity of the dial with no date and the clean look of the dial is amazing. Think I'm going to find myself wearing this a lot. I'll figure out how to post pics and get some up ..read more

Considering Going from 1305 to 692. Thoughts?

I currently have a 1305. I realize the change isn't that dramatic, but part of me wants the dark blue dial. I don't necessarily care at all about the BMG tech, in fact, I'm a bit apprehensive about it after reading the case shattering issues. Should I just stick with trusty titanium ..read more

TC Straps seems to be having a blowout sale on straps and accessories - I am not affiliated with them, just stumbled across the site while searching for a strap for my 753. I've only gleaned from the interwebs that they might be going out of business, but not sure ..read more
