Well that was a bummer, drove all the way from Cambridge to Stoke On Trent to collect a reserved Pre-Reg MX-30 Prime Line with only 13 miles on the clock to find it with very tired (must have been through a car wash several times) paintwork with some really nasty bird poo burns…..but worst of all it had had a bump that had deformed the lower part of the bumper (pics attached). Everything I search on this forum brings up old 2021 replies. Where are the later owners? Anyway, while I'm hoping not to need to charge away from home I have to be prepared that it may happen and I don't want to carry 2 cables in the boot forever, just in case. I don't like the look of the flimsy Irish Frunk conversions (2021 of course) I wonder if anyone has done anything with the boot floor. Hi all, New to the forum and am thinking of upgrading my Mazda 2 to an MX-30 Makoto full electric in Ceramic or Machine Grey. I'm just astonished at the price of a new MX-30 in UK vs pre-registered! What is best deal anyone has received on a new MX-30? As with various discounts etc, the best deal new I can get one for is £25k. But a pre-registered one with very low mileage is coming in at £17k. My 2021 MX-30 demonstrator with 3400 miles was bought for £28000 in May 2022 at 7-months old. Sold in April 24 (6-months later) as a part-exchange with 6258 miles at £12000. So 10-months cost me £16000. Thank you to the lady who price-conditioned me when she was offered £11000 for a one-year-old car. I traded it for another Vauxhall Grandland Hybrid 4 at £18010 with 39717 on the clock. That car cost someone £42000 so they lost £23,990. The road tax for a car with a list price exceeding... Hi all, I have been looking for a car and test drove a second hand MX30 with 40k miles on the clock. I was wondering id there is a way to check the battery state of health. The car is for sale at a Mazda dealer and they have said there is no way to do it but that sounds...unlikely? Also the battery warranty lasts for 8years/100,000 miles. Today I drove my new purchase home, 2023 MX30 Makoto. Sitting on the drive trying to go understand the settings on the screen for 30 minutes and all hell let loose. The alarm came on and wouldn't stop, the passenger door locked my wife in, the screens went crazy wiith flashing lights and the wipers and brake pedal started pumping rhythmically.
