I have a 2017 Corsa; it had a service 5000 miles ago. Two days ago a notification came on saying that a service was needed and then there was a notification indicating the car had entered power reduced mode. I called the AA who came out, they ran a diagnostic test then reset it. This seemed to resolve the issue and it had driven fine for two days again. I have a vectra c with z22yh engine, beleive it or not I am having some fuel issues. White smoke, strong smell of fuel, misfiring and undrivable but it occasionally clears and runs fine. I believe I should have a constant voltage to the injectors and the other side switched to ground. If I'm right, my first question is what voltage should I have? secondly should this be ignition on or engine running or both. And finaly to clarify this is to battery negative ..read more

how the hell does this egr valve come out. its at the back of the engine to the right slightly held on by two tx30 torx screws. ive removed both these and the valve is stuck solid. is it a interference fit and just coked up or am i missing something. space is very limited so struggling to sort this . Today my Meriva 1.7TDI started chiming all the time when moving and the internal light stays on but the warning symbol that says "door open" is not lit on the dashboard. Maybe anyone here has encountered such an issue. Its random as far as I can tell. Whenever I turn the ignition key (and not start the engine), I get the error on the dashboard, when connecting through Torque app via simple OBD tool, I get P0002 code (I cant see the subcode if there is any).
