How can a Vauxhall dealership not know about a warranty? Surely they offer this, and fix things covered by it all the time?! Car's a 65-plate (Jan 2016) and done just under 19K miles so hardly a high-miler! Would've thought if anything that the 1.6T would've been a LOWER insurance risk given the lack of problems seen with it. I can understand the premiums going up but not by £147? If that's the best that the official warranty can do price wise, I think I'll risk it with the RAC when the time comes - at least the carbonisation is covered by that one.
