I recently noticed my Betta is getting some discoloration around his front, turning a brown color and additionally not moving very much. His water Params seem fine and I have not changed anything. As the title suggests would you say an AC 30 or 50 would be best for a 15-20g tank? I set up my tank a week ago, no fish or plants just yet, only gravel and decor and I'm not happy with my Tidal 35 filter. It has two pieces of course foam and matrix inside the media basket, with a very course piece of sponge covering the intake and skimmer grate to act as a prefilter. I have a problem with one of my Beta tanks with everything in the tank getting a clear slime on it. The fish he seems to be fine but I'm having to change his entire tank at least once a week.
