About 2 months ago I had my mom watch my Betta as I was away for a couple days. When I came back I noticed his mouth was open but didn’t think anything of it as he was still active and eating. Hi everyone, Busta's not doing too well. He's a big plakat and I've had him for nearly a year and a half. About a week ago I noticed his colors were a little dull but didn't think too much of it. On Monday I noticed when feeding my betta fish that he was not excited to eat his food and swam right past the pellets I fed him. This was very concerning as it has not happened since we got him 3 weeks ago. Since then his condition has been getting worse. He is no longer eating or swimming around. About 8 months ago, I got a relatively old Betta fish that I named Oreo. . .And he's still living! He is unbelievably healthy, and active, and altogether happy. His color is enhancing dramatically, here are some before and after photos. . Obviously, he hates cameras. Does anyone have an idea on white these white specs are? They appeared one day in my tank and have since increasingly multiplied.
