So the issue at bay is just as the title suggests, I've had said offender for about 6 months and this is the first time I've witnessed it deliberately take a bit out of a RFA not once or twice but several times,
Is this known behavior for foxfaces? One spot foxface to be specific (siganus unimaculatus)
For the past week or so 2 of my RFAs have been on the move quite often (everyday they are in a new spot). This is after being in the same spot pretty much ever since they were introduced...

When we think of barracuda's we often think of the Great Barracuda which reach around 5 feet and are absolutely not suitable for a home aquarium. But there are other species of barracuda like the yellowtail barracuda (Sphyraena flavicauda) which reaches a max of 24 inches and on average 14-16 inches or the striped barracuda (Sphyraena obtusata) which only reaches a max size of 21 inches. Some tangs even grow to these lengths and I imagine require the same amount of...

Hi all,
So I recently got a small randall’s pistol shrimp and a tiny hi-fin goby. I put the goby in first and he went and hid somewhere immediately. I put the shrimp in after and he immediately made a little burrow in the very front of the tank. Almost 2 weeks later now and I haven’t seen the goby since I first put him in the tank, the shrimp is looking good though I see him from time to time moving sand out of his burrow. My question is when should I assume that this goby didn’t make it...

Hello,
I have a 120g 5ft tank. I have an idea of the tangs I can put in there but would like some advice. I already have a yellow amd scopas in my 90g so I would like different tangs in the 120.
My favorite tang is an orange shoulder. I know they need 180 plus would it be terrible to have it in a 120?
Here's what I would like: orange shoulder, tennenti, powder brown
If I only had those 3 tangs and some clown fish would it be ok ..read more

Anyone keep them together. Most sites say that either is compatable with most peaceful fish, but I have read of some isolated cases of RG's terrorizing fairy wrasses and sixlines? Anyone with some experience ..read more

I’m going to be moving 3 of my fish to a smaller soft coral only tank I’m currently cycling. So I want to add 2-3 more to my 40 gallon LPS and zoa reef. I have a lot of rock work with caves and swim-throughs . This is a 40 lagoon so it’s 35 long x 16 wide x 13 high.
Existing stock list:
Midas blenny
Tailspot blenny
Royal gramma (hides constantly, not due to others aggression as far as I can see)
Springer damsel (very peaceful so far)
Cleaner shrimp
I want fish that swim openly most of the...
