I purchased a new 2024 GV80 in the Vic Black color. The vehicle had scratches all over the car. The dealer applied a paint protectant to the hood and the driver's side. I brought this to the attention of the dealer. They tried to correct the paint, but there were still scratches all over the car. The dealer will not respond now to correct the vehicle. Got a 2.5" scrape on front driver side wheel and I found a guy who fixes these kinds of problems but he doesn't know the exact color. Wheel appears to be gloss charcoal but not sure if factory wheels: 1: are paint or powder coat? 2: paint/powder coat is available in that exact color and if so, where can we get it? My GSC stopped working in January of last year, I have the 3.0 head unit in my car so it is not software related as I'm told, which means it needs to be replaced. Advice I got elsewhere for buying a GV70 said that I should make sure to buy from a standalone Genesis dealer rather than one that's in with a Hyundai dealer and that, in fact, Genesis is talking away the franchise from Hyundai dealerships in favor of standalone businesses. I can see why they'd want to do this, as the general vibe of a dealership for brands like BMW and Lexus is definitely different from a standard dealership, but I really don't have a choice.
