Didn't check for an error code, very little fluid coming out bleed nipple was the giveaway. I opened up the valve block and powered each solenoid individually to find the culprit. It turned out to be two culprits, one inlet and one outlet. Subsequently, the valves were pulled from the block. The outlet cleaned out with a soak and started making positive clicks, unfortunately the inlet didn't play ball. So inlet was opened up and stripped, freeing the needle and cleaned out. Not had a chance to check opeation with power yet, but resistance levels suggest should work now. Statistics: Posted by M ..read more

Older Classics & Collectible - Parts Wanted • Wtd: To fit 1993 C900 rust free tailgate, sunroof panel & rear bumper, Bath area

Car has gone in for paint and it turns out i have a rather crusty tailgate and not so tidy sunroof panel. Long shot but i'm looking for a rust free hatch tailgate and sunroof panel for a 93 C900. Either local (ish) to Bath or able to post (sunroof panel). I'm aware there's different spoiler mounting hole options so will get a picture of mine from the bodyshop. Also on the look out for a rear bumper in good condition without dents or heavy marks. Preferably painted in standard finish but would consider unpainted as well. Is it a 185 or 205PS engine? Sounds like the Aero kit and Viggen wheels are a later addition... Statistics: Posted by ilovesaab99s — Thu Apr 18, 2024 3:11 pm ..read more

There’s a bolt in the middle of the thermostat cover where the earth connects. The Bolton mine was seized and sheared off. I moved the earth to the adjacent bolt that holds the thermostat cover itself. Statistics: Posted by sgould — Thu Apr 18, 2024 9:20 am ..read more

Has the thermostat been changed? The earthing cable from the ignition cassette runs into the loom and straight out again to an earthing point on the thermostat cover. If the thermostat has been changed the earth connection is often missed and left unconnected. I personally haven't changed but it may have. If the ground is stripped is there somewhere I can relocate to check to see if that's causing the problem? Statistics: Posted by Tompug206 — Thu Apr 18, 2024 8:19 am ..read more

I've got the do88 intercooler and big pipe kit installed along with a Kinugawa TD04HL-19T-7 turbo and king cobra. I'll be visiting Karl tomorrow for a safe map, as there's a good chance of blowing my engine up now with what!! It took 8 hours for my mechanic to install everything, so not as easy as it's made out to be, which included making up a new pcv line / connector to fit into the king cobra as my existing one was a different type, dealing with several seized bolts and modifying the AC condenser bracket. The stock intercooler was ballooning on the top and bottom, so a worthwhile replace ..read more
