I found this part loose in the front (clutch) end of the transmission housing of my 1948 8n. It was separated at the break but used a vice on it to get it how it is in the picture. Any idea what it is? Almost looks like it’s used to separate transmission gears. Couldn’t find it in the parts manual ..read more

Can A 3-Point Hitch Implement be Attatched to a Tractor With Only A Drawbar?

Hello, A friend recently offered to give me a Massey-Ferguson sickle bar mower that has been sitting in his field for the past few years. I looked at it and it has only surface rust and is in good shape, and It would make a nice addition to my small collection of tractors. However, the only tractor that I have that is of the right size to safely use the implement is a '45 Farmall A, which has no 3-point hitch but rather a solid drawbar. I have seen adapters intended to adapt a 3-point hitch... Can A 3-Point Hitch Implement be Attatched to a Tractor With Only A Drawbar ..read more

But the Ford is what i need help with (in this post, anyway): The deck, tires and rims are junk, but I think it can be saved. its complete, besides the seat and gas tank, all the parts that aren't on it in the pics are on a shelf, and the last pic is after i washed it. I haven't got the engine running yet, but it spins... Ford LT-75 Restoration ..read more
