My 1999 John Deere LT155 suddenly lost forward gear. I replaced the rear pulley over the transmission with no success. The tractor moves slowly forward with first 1"-2" of pedal travel and looses power as I continue to press the forward pedal.
Do I need to replace drive belt, tension pulleys, springs? Is there an adjustment on the linkage to get full range of forward travel speed? Have watched far too many UTube videos to specifically diagnose and solve problem. Help ..read more

I need to find center of ceiling of 24 different rooms with 9ft ceilings.
I don't own a modern indoor laser level.
I couldn't find anything on The You Tube..
I assume CROSS HAIR laser levelers don't aim at ceilings.. am I wrong? do you know of any?
I'd prolly be happy with harbor freight, if they would even put a cross on a ceiling ..read more

I have a JD 317, but it has the 46" mower deck from the JD 318. I'm looking to get a grass/leaf catcher system. I'm specifically looking at used Power Flows. I understand that it is made to match the specific deck I have.
What are your opinions on the quality and functionality of the Power Flow systems?
Is the mechanism solid?
Is it prone to breaking?
How does it work on damp grass/leaves?
What are you opinions on the hitch mounted bags vs the MC519 material collection system?
I'd...

Does anyone know what the top filler port is used for in this Yanmar engine?
My machine is a 2006 X740. I've changed the engine oil several times but have never used the top port. Not sure what the benefit is but would like to know.
Below is a link to the manual. The top filler port can be seen on page 3 of the diagram:

Newbie here, that just got a 4200 hst compact with my house purchase. Tractor ran a few times and then just up and died. Could never get it to restart. Began all the internet research and boiled it down to either the thermistor or the fuel shutoff solenoid. Well, it appears to be neither of those.
First I changed the thermistor and still would not start, and by start I mean get fuel. So I pulled the solenoid and tried turning it over, and the plunger would not come in. However, when...

I was mowing high weeds at level four and was ok then started back over at level 2.
a bit into the run the tractor stopped dead in its tracks. Won’t crank and doesn’t make any noises at all when I turn the key.
im kinda stumped at this point. The oil is good. I think something got jacked on the sensor by the belt driver underneath. Not sure yet. I have to test it out tomorrow.
Any suggestions ..read more

Need some help diagnosing a problem on my 4630 quad range. Was disking a few days ago and heard what sounded like I ran over some metal. Hard to tell because I had my ear buds in listening to music. (Bad idea) Anyways I shifted to neutral and got off the tractor and looked behind the disc and didn’t find any metal. Tractor sounded normal, got back in the cab and put it in B 2 let off the clutch and… nothing. No steering, brakes , 3pt hitch, pto. Clutch seems a little spongy. Seems like it...

Would anyone with a 2023 and up 1025R with the Single-Point connector and hard oil lines from the SCV to the single point connect be able to take some close up pictures for me?
I am converting my 2022 to the hard lines to my single point and I'm trying to get correct the routing/line layout along with the line holders under the floor board and near the loader arm/mount.
Would appreciate it, thank you ..read more
