I acquired the tentagraph from a grey dealer back in December 2023 (Brand New with stickers).
I promptly noticed the seconds hand not being aligned at 12 o'clock and made a thread about it.

After dropping it off at GS in Beverly Hills to get it fixed, they told me it will be sent to Japan and it would take 8-12 weeks. I've been on contact with them biweekly to see what the status was after the 12 week period, and then finally last week (nearly 5 months later), they told me they got the watch back but they didn't fire the alignment.

I recently noticed something off about the reversing wheel of my Shunbun (SBGA413/443)
On closer inspection with a loupe, I can confirm that it is Dirt/grime/burring (take your pick) mixed with lubricant. In fact there are 7-8 of these lumps of various sizes all around that wheel.
The watch less than 11 months ago and based on how I have used it, there is no good reason for something like to pop up so soon.
Has anyone else faced a similar quality control issue with their spring drive GS?

I have an SGBE257. Sad to say that I never pick up the watch to wear again, it’s been maybe 12-18 months since I’ve worn it. I even thought about selling it for awhile (and I never sell watches) because I just never wear it, but got an offer for $3k which is less than half of what I paid at MSRP. Figured I might as well just keep it.
Ok, so here’s where I need help. I had the same problem with my Tudor BB58, but after I changed it to the blue soft touch strap, I wear it quite often now.
So the question is, what strap can I get for the SBGE257? Would love everyone’s suggestions ..read more

Just realized that there is a small black dot at the bottom of 10 hour indices on my 62MAS diver. This is my first Seiko watch and I'm wondering if this is normal on Seiko watches. Would this bother you guys a lot?
Maybe my expectation is too high on Seikos...?

Curious what people think. I haven’t heard a good reason yet.
GS finishes their bracelets really well. They also have a slight taper, usually 20mm down to 18mm. But the taper isn’t enough, 20mm to 16mm is perfect (as evident by what most of the luxury brands do).
So why doesn’t GS taper their bracelets more? I hate how big they are ..read more

Hi,
Do you think that this Ti bracelet looks ok or should I polish it? The mirror polished part looks a bit scratched, and in online pictures there seem to be more contrast between polished/non polished parts?
