Hey all, new to the forum here. I have recently purchased a 100W fiber laser with a rotary fixture. I am looking to engrave patterns into Titanium and Zirconium rings. I am specifically trying to produce deep cuts (0.5-0.75mm) that could be filled. I am using EZCAD2 software and have everything up and running. Hello, New to the forum and to laser engraving overall. I got my hands on a free 2 axis laser engraving setup that was getting tossed. It was working fine and I have done quite a few things on it so far with no issues. I was working on a project the other day and after a job finished the setup no longer wants to work correctly. I have a 5.5W Two trees and a creality rotary pro kit. Every looks perfect except for 3 places where it seems to just started to oscillate. I'm engraving at 25mm/second so it is within guidelines. Hi, I have a Omicron type (Vevor) 60W CO2 Laser and was having trouble cutting through 9mm ply with the stock lens. I purchased a 4" lens but the thinnest line I can get in the ramp test is not thin enough and the bed has to lower some 20-25mm to get that. The lens is installed with the side I can see myself in pointing at the laser. Even with the best focus I can get I cant cut much at all. Any help would be appreciated.
