I’m looking at a pre-owned Santos 2787 in 18K for my wife. From the pictures it appears to use a standard springbar, but since I have no experience with the brand, I don’t know for sure. My wife will want to swap out straps frequently. I’m also concerned if using an aftermarket strap with a “standard” QR springbar will put excessive wear on the lugs/lug hoes of the 18K case. Seeking input from this helpful forum. I like both of these for different reasons - the Americaine exudes class with the prominently curved case and elegant dial font. The regular Tank is obviously more rectangular and the dial appears more 'open' to me, which I like, due to the thinner bezel than that of the Americaine with it thick side bezel or brancards. New user, just wanting to get some thoughts on authenticity. I plan on getting it looked at somewhere but I need to find a shop near me with some vintage knowledge. Having both, I always thought that large Santos was better for my 7.25 inch wrist since 2019.
