Hi Guys, I purchased this ORIS Aquis about 2 years ago and maybe worn it for about 2 months during this time-frame. The watch has been in the ocean about 3-4 times in its lifetime, and was always rinsed under fresh water. Today i have noticed rust developing in between the lugs. Did this ever happen to any of you? [never happened to ANY watch of mine] Where do i go from here? should i try to clean the rust, or claim warranty? I'm still trying to understand how... ORIS Aquis developing rust ..read more

Pro Pilot X Calibre 400 lume is better than I thought

Let me start by saying I'm not a lume junkie, but I was surprised today. I've had my PPX for almost 6 months, and I've noticed the hands glowing a little from time to time but always faintly. That said, I'm rarely near strong outdoor lighting and then in a dark environment. This morning, however, I rolled up my sleeves [literally, not proverbially] and took the garbage (and recycling and organics) out to the curb for collection, and came back in quickly and into a dim staircase and... Hello all and brand new to the forum. I have a couple of what I would term decent watches and looking to get another. I have admired the Big Crown for some time and the one on the attached pics has come up locally. The pics aren't amazing but to me it all seems to add up. Seller has receipt, cards etc. can anyone let me know if they think it's a bit fishy? Many thanks ..read more

Have one on order and while I am a bracelet guy typically, I have concerns with the lack of microadjustment on the stock bracelet. Regardless of how it looks or how good it is otherwise, if I cannot get a good fit it will not be used unfortunately. So, interested to see everyone's favorites. Thanks in advance ..read more

I'm contemplating purchasing this watch off gray market and was hoping to get your guys' advice on the decision. The seller is trusted but the watch does not come with papers and the original strap although it does have the original box (it's an older model so official warranty doesn't really matter to me and Oris CS stated they would service it at an AD). I contacted Oris and they confirmed the serial number to match the reference number but I'm unable to find this specific watch for sale... Help identify Oris Big crown ..read more

Losing faith in Cal. 400 - headed for 2nd warranty repair in 2 years

Sorry for the new thread on this, but search didn’t turn up anything recent. Bought my Aquis from AD 18 months ago. Less than a year in it would lose close to 30 seconds per day. I sent it back to my AD, got it back seeming to be OK. 3 months later it was losing time again, and now it’s back to running slow by about 30 seconds per day again. Even worse: PR seems to be gone after wearing the watch (auto winding), vs. hand winding. Whenever I give it a “full” hand wind (200 turns of the... What’s my Divers 65 movement?

I’ve spent a long time searching on the Internet and this forum and have come up empty-handed. It’s frustrating running Google searches with very specific terms and only getting ridiculous mostly marketing hits. Anyway, is there any way of looking at my Oris Divers 65 case back (purchased new in Japan, five months ago) to determine which Sellita movement is inside? I wish to determine what the factory accuracy spec is for my particular watch’s movement, which is running slow. I’m... What’s my Divers 65 movement ..read more

As usual, Oris will be present at Watches and Wonders 2024 with its new products. Last year you presented the Propilot X Kermit enjoying good success. I hope, even if it is difficult, that it presents a new model with an in-house chronograph caliber, or a refresh of the basic Big Crown which I think has been on the market for more than 5 years now ..read more
