1927 Buick Master Cam Timing Diagram

My friend who is in the midst of rebuilding his 1927 engine has been studying his timing diagram he has concerns about errors on the duration of valve opening and closing. Or was that just how they designed it. He was the person who bought the 1925-49 cobbleation with a variety of changes including a 1927 engine, radiator, headlights, a 1930s style top and bad body wood. But it did have wire wheels. He is turning it into some sort of Speedster.   He is rebuilding the 1927 Engine and is stumped by the cam timing. He has had it reground and new aluminum pistons. He has ..read more

I'm in need of a rocker arm stanchion for a '12 model 43. Could possibly fit other years or engine sizes. One of mine is quite worn. It's repairable with substantial effort and time - and I am rather short on the latter. If you think you may have one, please message me and I will provide photos and dimensions.   Thanks!     ..read more

I am looking for any closeup photos of the cradles that hold my convertible top when it is folded down.  Online I have found a few unclear images of the exterior but none of how they mount on the inside.  So, in short, closeups of the exterior and interior would be greatly appreciated.   Wilson 1924 Buick model 35 Touring Cary, NC ..read more

Motometer Repair - Thanks

When I purchased my 1924 Buick, the line in the Motometer was red all the way to the top.  So, I started reading on this an other forums about how to repair it.  Somewhere in one of the forums, someone said to spin it in a bicycle wheel.  I don't know who said it but it worked! I flipped the bike upside down, put it on a table and secured the Motometer between the spikes, head towards the rim, and started spinning.  After about 1/2 a mile, I stopped - there was no change.  I figured I would give it another chance and I spun it for about another 1/2 mile and a higher sp ..read more

Hello, with the weather getting better around here, I'm heading to the barn to finish up the deco pieces on my new interior,  wooden window trim, pull assist, switches and dome light and newly covered curtains ( done by the bride).  I have the roll up curtain hardware but I've no idea what they used to anchor the string guides on both sides of the curtain at the bottom.  A picture would be wonderful. 1928 Buick Master Oil Pan

Hi folks, I am looking for a replacement oil pan for my 1928 28-47. When I rebuilt my motor last year, I noticed several areas where the pan was previously repaired and several other areas that had significant damage. After reinstalling the pan, one of the damaged areas opened up during a tour, resulting in a slow, but consistent oil leak. With summer on its way, I would like to replace my pan with one in better condition. Replacing, rather than repairing the existing pan, will give me peace of mind in my upcoming tours. I’m located in central PA. Thanks ..read more
