Hello All, I need some help with my trusty 1997 Buick LeSabre. It has around 257,000 miles and decided to start stumbling above about a quarter throttle. It will go along just fine below ~quarter throttle. As I ask more of it the problem gets worse, up to about 3/4 throttle where it will cut out completely unless I back off the throttle. Hello all. I've been looking into buying something with a Buick 3800 engine in it so I've been doing some research and have read that the NA Series II upper intake manifold is plastic and degrades around the EGR passage and can cause coolant to dump into the engine. I'm assuming that since the Supercharged Series II (L67) has the supercharger in place of the UIM that means it doesn't have this same issue? Are there any issues with the Series II Supercharged 3800 that are unique to it? Does the supercharged engine still have the lower intake manifold gasket issues like the NA engine does ..read more

As I was driving this morning, I briefly lost control of my 2004 LeSabre on a rain-slicked interstate. Fortunately, I was able to regain control in time to save the day. Unfortunately, the cruise control stopped working. The resume-accelerate/set-coast button is non-responsive. For a brief period, the cruise would suddenly engage, but whenever I pressed the R-A/*-C button, it disengaged. Symptom:Brakes one second are fine, next the pedal goes to the floor. Original Brake master cylinder will be replaced with Part # Raybestos MC390267. Strange no ABS light on. I recently came into possession of a 1990 Buick LeSabre. It has been running off and on for about a year. Today I started it up and it ran fine for about 30 minutes, then I started it up again and it would rough idle then stall. Good afternoon Forum, I have a 2002 Buick LaSabre Custom with 48k miles on her. Yesterday an issue developed with the dashboard electrical system. First the chime sounded. Then all the warning lights on the dashboard all lit up like they do when first starting the car. The gages spike, and then most of the lights go off, but some will randomly stay on. I just bought a 1994 Park Ave. in beautiful condition. I got it kind of cheap as it came with an issue: it likes to stall and die when the RPM drops too low. I’ll try to describe the problem as accurately as possible. When you start it, it runs fine for a few minutes. Then the RPM starts swaying up and down and it eventually dies. The symptom is the same regardless if the engine is hot and cold. When it has died it starts right back up again and runs for a few minutes before it starts again.
