Good afternoon Gentlemen, I have a Ricoh MP C3002 that recently had its SP settings cleared. After I put in all the door settings and got the test prints back to normal, it seems that any external prints from a PC are all washed out in black. This happens with all types of files. When I do a color calibration, it prints out clear. It seems to only happen when something is sent to the machine to print. I believe this has something to do with the settings and not a parts issue as everything was fine prior to the SP settings being cleared. Any suggestions? Thanks ..read more

Hello, I am an end user without much technical experience who is trying to get my Ricoh multifunction printer/scanner/copier working at 100%. I am having several issues with networking and an error code, however I'll address issues one by one and this thread will only focus on the error code. When I submit a print job, the printer may print 1 or 2 pages before stopping and displaying the error code, "Misfeed: tray 1". I have a Ricoh 4420NFI was working on that gave me a 0541H error code. I had replaced the fuser because the old fuser had a flat spot on the press roller causing the machine to make a thumping sound when it ran. When that code came up, I put the old fuser back, but still the code stays there. I think I need to reset the code. I have tried looking in the service manual but it doesn't say how to put the machine into service mode or what code to use to clear the error. If it does, I ain't seeing it. i have this code on im2000 to im7000 typically i swap the scanner or l unplug all night. i also see it on the imc color copiers, but most of the time it shows background, i can do a 5610-4 and 5801-8 and do color calibration to clear. i had an imc8000 that i had to leave unplugged over night as well. almost always happens with generator test or power failure. any ideas ..read more
