ok, here's the deal. Recently my 94 GS-R has been acting strange when in idle. The RPMs will climb up to about 2500 RPM when I first start the motor, and the abruptly fall to around 1000. as the motor warms up, the fall of RPMs is less drastic, but it's still there. Back in December I wasn’t paying attention and I was going up a hill in 5th gear on the highway doing about 2k rpms and only going like 50. I realized my car was overheating. So I tossed it in 4th and the temp cooled down but then if I tossed it back in 5th it would overheat again. That problem went away for the past few months but now has recently came back. I’m having overheating issues and I’ve tried putting in a new radiator, new thermostat, checked a relay, temp sensor, checked coolant pressure, I’m completely lost. When I went to swap the thermostat I opened the housing to see nothing, I’m assuming the rest of the thermostat is either in the motor or my new or old radiator, hopefully the old one. Hello all. I don't really know what I'm doing so I'd like some guidance here. I've got a 2001 Integra LS that had a water pump go out. The head gasket had never been replaced but I think a little bit of extra heat was the kicker and it blew a head gasket. Any advice on fixing the the abs sensor hole threads, trying to bolt everything back together now but the bolt head sheared off trying to remove it before. Drilled it strait through and tried an extractor, that did not work. Tried to chip it in and twist it out with pliers no go. The threads are definitely still there but are blocked by the thin un drilled remaining portion of the broken screw.
