This is the final step of my closure, reclaimed vulnerability and authenticity. Can’t begin to tell you how happy this conversation made me. It gave me so much hope that I’ll be able to find love one day, not in spite of my disability, but truly for who I am. Brooke (@honesttoquad) and Elena (@elena.pauly) are the co-creators of the organization WAGS of SCI, a support group for wives and girlfriends of individuals with spinal cord injuries and they’re absolutely amazing!
