Speedmaster '57 clasp on 321 bracelet

I saw someone comment on YT video at some point that alluded to this being possible. So stopped by my Omega AD this past weekend to have a look, take some measurements and actually try this out. Of course I'm interested because the '57 clasp has push button quick adjust functionality. And turns out - it will work! Slightly larger clasp but otherwise looks exactly like the 321 clasp. They're currently trying to find the part number and will then order. Swatch group had issues with their ordering system for the last few weeks but sounds like things have come back online recently. How many 126500LN owners are buying a white dial Speedy?

Just curious what white dial Daytona owners think of the new Speedmaster. I imagine if you love the Daytona, you must think fondly of the new Omega. Would you find it redundant or see it as another way to add to a genre that you clearly appreciate as 126500LN owners? Clearly there are differences that could be a turn off.. Manual Wind Low water resistance w/o screw down crowns Aluminum Bezel Open caseback But there are a lot of boxes both check.. Great History and Iconic White Dials Brand cachet Sooooo... What do you 126500LM owners think of the new Omega comparatively and do you plan o ..read more

Ed White 321 buying dilemma

Hi folks, I’ve been after a Speedmaster Ed White 321 for a few years, the OB says he’s had one in 4 years. Looking at grey prices I can get a new unused one for about £500 over list, which seems reasonable. The issue is I’m looking at selling both my Explorer 40mm and my Speedmaster 3861 Hesalite to help fund. Way I see it is this price is undervalued currently on secondary market and it’s a grail piece for me. However for that cash I could instead add a new white dial Speedmaster AND keep both my Hesalite Speedmaster and the Explorer, have 3 watches and be in a similar financial position ..read more

Sales regrets or not?

Hi all. I was wondering how many of you have sold a Omega or multiples of to fund a Rolex and if they now have any regrets? I’m currently considering selling two Seamasters in favour of an Explorer which would be my first Rolex, but both have valid reasons not to. There’s my 2264 which I like for the comfort fit and the legibility of the sword style hands, which I find I can easily read with my ageing eyes. Then there’s my current style diver 300 which if I’m honest I regret buying, and I don’t wear much plus I find it harder to read. This would be the obvious choice to move on, but I bought it ..read more

Omega Ed White 321

I was offered a fairly used 2020 Omega 321 with negligible premium compared to current MSRP. The watch condition is comparable to brand new. Have researched and read so much on the history and the manufacturing process of this beautiful watch. Compared to the Daytona, I think the whole package is so much more and better. So my question is, why is this watch trading at such low premium? It's not a limited edition but still a limited production watch per year given the capacity. There seems to be no love for this great watch. What am I missing here? Would love to hear your thoughts as this is ..read more

Advice on sending in Omega Speedy for warranty service

I own an Omega Speedy (3861) and have some issues that need to be addressed under warranty. But since I want to be in full control, I am going to personally send the watch into the Swatch Group myself versus going through the AD. I've learned the hard way, when you go through the AD, the watch company won't speak to you as the watch owner (only the AD). That being said, can someone give any advice on the best shipper (i.e. FedEx, UPS, etc.)? That is if there is such a thing as a best shipper for an expensive timepiece. This ties in with my concern about purchasing insurance for the watch befo ..read more
