I posted recently about solar generators. We are in a position where we need to make a decision faster than expected, and I'd like to know what all I could expect if I buy for example a heated Renogy 100AH lithium battery. Specifically, can I literally just remove the old battery and install the renogy battery? I've been a technician on cars in a previous life, but is there anything different about installing a lithium battery where a lead acid battery used to be? Will the included charge monitor stock on the 154bh work properly? Will there be any fitment issues? Just need to know what I shoul ..read more

I have a Jayco Flight that doesn’t have power. My batteries were just working and charging. I replaced them last year. I am dry camping with a generator and have the trailer plugged into that for power. But once I shut down the generator I lose all power, and the batteries have zero juice. I checked my breakers and fuses inside the trailer. I am not sure what else I need to do. Any ideas would be helpful ..read more

Hey Everyone. I just recently got back from a trip in the desert and I was backing my trailer into my spot and rubbed against a piece of metal sticking out the side of my shed that I of course did not see. I basically punched a hole in the side of the camper.I attached a few photos to show the damage. Has anyone done something like this? I do have insurance and I already filed a claim. I'm assuming this is fixable. I just doin't know what would be involved. To say the least, my Wife is not very happy with me right now and I am completely bummed. It's a brand new trailer. UGH!!!!

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum so please be patient. I just bought a new Jayco Jay Flight 235mbhw travel trailer. Now, where it's brand new you would think everything is in working order. Not true. It came with a Dometic gp-sb-pwm-30bt solar controller and solar panel installed. My problem is the controller when connected to the batteries is showing an overcharge (see attached pictures). When not connected to batteries it acts like it should, scrolling through menus. This came from the dealership like this but could the wiring be at fault? Bad controller? I have also attached a picture ..read more

I have the Tireminder TPMS setup and I keep getting NS after driving for a bit. It seems to register when I first hook up then seems like the signal drops. I did not replace the batteries in the tire sensors, would think they would last for a while. I pull off the trailer and store in the house over the winter.
I have the antenna placed on the tongue of the trailer. I would think this would work.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

Hello all, I am new to this forum and apologize if I have missed something in my searches, but I am hoping to find a way to do 2 things:
1. Use the included solar panel to charge a solar generator from inside the trailer
2. Hook up the solar generator to the 30amp plug from inside the trailer
I will be purchasing a Bluetti or similar solar generator soon, but would love to be able to keep it inside instead of risk having it stolen, as we won't be at camp much of the time. I am sure this will require some effort, but I'm wondering if anyone here has done this, or if anyone knows the wiring we ..read more

So strange situation on my first trip. No blocking from the wind and it was the worst wind I have ever camped in. So my CO alarm starts going off. I have a smell coming from under the bottom bunk where the water heater is located. Is it possible the wind would blow the exhaust into this area? I thought the heater would be sealed from the outside.
What happens when the CO detector starts to fail, expiration? Does it keep alarming, or just not test ..read more

Hello from Colorado...
My wife and I just bought our new to us 2016 28rbsk whitehawk and pretty excited to start our adventures.
I've read a few of the newbie threads and it seems like a wealth of information here.
