With the disappointing Sigma announcement today and the recent closure of the old www.sigma-dp.com website I thought it might be a good time to share my Sigma DP2 reference page / photo blog i dream in foveon. This site contains a bunch of information on the Sigma DP2 as well as usage tips in order to keep the spirit of the camera alive while we patiently wait for the next Foveon sensor camera. It's been forever since I posted here... Sad times ... Few weeks ago picked up a Sigma DP2 and have been having fun with it. I was surprised to see the beautiful www.sigma-dp.com site and the precious brochures still available to download. The site included all the content for the original DP series as and the DP Merrills. Since the weekend the site seems to be down. Hope this isn't permanent. Hope everyone on the forum is still having fun Foveon times ..read more

Hopefully one of you bright folks can steer this goof toward Goodness & Light… Got my Quattro DP2 a month ago (late April, 2021) from B&H after a couple months backorder. Read the manual, charged the batteries, set up the clock, verified the firmware, all good. Made a few test images in RAW, downloaded PhotoPro, got everything working, happy shutterbug. Was drafted May 15 to shoot a prom. Had extra SDXC cards knowing at max resolution, I could fit about 30 images on a 256gb card. Used a tripod outdoors, Program Mode, etc. made about 45 useful images. Kids went inside for dinner on a ..read more
