hello all. What I have made is a large template. Within that template, I embedded an excel file. The excel file has several tables that are linked within the Word document. This is all working great, no issues (well, a formatting issue with repeat headers, but I just made a macro for that).
Anyways, the problem is that this is a template. So someone will take this, drop a copy in a a directory, and give it a new name. When you open the "new" file, all of the tables have a 'source...

Hello,
Is there a way to create the Network Diagram with a chart\diagram dedicated software (like VISIO) with the existing MS-Project data?
The motivation is to create a better looking Network Diagram instead of using the one that MS-Project offers out-of-the-box.
I would prefer not to create it manually, which is why I asked if you knew of any applications that could be integrated with MS-Project and the data in my project ..read more

Hi I've got an issue where in some applications (Excel, Adobe) when I'm typing in a text field I can't get a space in between words. In other apps this is OK and my keyboard settings haven't changed. I'm using a MacBook Pro and it's the latest OS version

Hi - new here so not sure if this has been discussed. Scenario: I have a form that is completed and then a button copies text from the form based on checkbox selection. This generated text is then pasted directly into two internal applications - this is working perfectly. What I also want to happen is when another command button is clicked, this copied text is pasted into another Word template that is then printed and given to clients. Is this possible? I have documents to edit with hundreds of tables, and 98% of the tables are the same format in each document. I need the same column widths on these. Right now I have to do each table manually, and so I looked for a way to automate this.
I have recorded a macro that follows me going through table properties and changing each of the column widths for the 3 columns. However, when I run the macro on a selected table, it does not work correctly. It changes the column widths, but it does not...

Hello,
In Outlook version 2303 Build 16227.20318, when you click on Try the new Outlook, there is no option to revert to the old view. The File > Office Account, and File > Options Settings, for the new view have been removed. There isn't even an option to choose File to access other settings. Do not know if this is a bug or working as intended..but the only way I was able to get back to original settings for an end user, was to do a Quick Repair, which didn't work for another user, and when...

When I use the shading on a line (with double-spaced 0pt before and after) in MS Word, I see that the shading area exceeds more at the bottom of the line.
However, this doesn't happen with single-spaced lines.
How do I make the shading look uniform around the text even with doubled spaced lines?

I had Office 2010 installed on my computer. I later found it was a pirate copy, so I purchased a new copy of Office 2013. After the 2013 version was installed, and I had all my email system working, I kept getting problems with office 2013 saying that two versions could not be run at the same time. I kept having to shut down the 2013 version, and stop the office services in Task Manager before it would re-start. I decided that I had to delete the old version using Control Panel.
