Hello! I recently got a G85, and I am having an issue. Whenever I try to use the dpad options (the iso/wb etc) all it does is pull up the focus box and move it in that direction instead of opening up the menu I am trying to open. How do I fix this ..read more

Hello , I'm planning to upgrade my EM-1 mk3 to either OM-1 or Panasonic G9II. I use often the High res. mode. I see that on the OM-1 its almost 3 times faster than on EM1mk3 but I'm wondering if on the new Pana G9ii is about as fast than on the OM-1 ? Anybody has experience on it (both em1 mk3 and pana g9 ..read more

Hello! I've seen some similar threads about this, but I'm curious if anyone knows a workaround as most of the threads were focused on using Exposure Compensation when shooting fully Manual and Auto ISO. I've been using some Leica M mount lenses on my newly acquired Panasonic GX8. Apologies if there's an obvious fix, I'm more accustomed to Olympus/OM bodies. When shooting in dark spaces/at night, I've got accustomed to shooting with Shutter Priority so I can define my minimum shutter... Read more ..read more

Yesterday I got an email from B&H advising of an up to $500 off promotion on Panasonic Lumix cameras, if trading in another camera (plus you get the trade-in price they assign). I used the promotion today and placed an order for a G9II at the price of $1,397.99, i.e. $500 or 26% off list price. Whoo-hoo! Also FYI, Sixth Avenue Electronics is selling G9IIs for $1,574.95 ..read more

Hi, I recently entered the (m)FT camp... again... Actually, I have a long story with Panasonic and Olympus. My first true love among digital cameras was Panasonic FZ-10, followed up with Panasonic FZ-30. Then I was shooting Four Third cameras - Olympus E510, E3, E30 and then the system died... I was very upset with new Olympus Cameras (e-p1 in particular), their handing, their performance with e-system lenses and went other ways... Later, in 2019, I've tried to come back and bought myself... Read more ..read more
