I finally decided to pull the EJ253 out that's been leaking oil from several places including HG. Bought the car at 125k and can't remember off hand if the prior owner had already done a HG job or not, but it was a stock single layer gasket. Got 220k on it now. Timing belt was overdue also. Did some research and found that there's a software update for the ECM which corrects the charging system. Called the dealership and was told my new (used) car is outside of the warrently and will be charged. I've begun noticing some loose panels and am wondering what is the best way to accumulate the plastic clips and screws needed to tighten things up? Two parts are at the passengers side headlight. While I was performing a system upgrade on my 2019 Forester Sport, all of the sudden the screen blacked out and never came back on. I tried pressing the volume button down for 10 seconds and didn't worked. Tried pressing all at same time, eject, volume and tuning and didn't also function.
