Well, I'm drilling down to replace this leaky seal on the input shaft, and I'm starting to wonder about how to reconnect the shaft to the gearbox. When I took it off, it seemed like the Allen wrench Bolt was not lined up with the grooved Edge, nor was it on the flat spot. Do you think it was put in wrong? Or can anyone give me specifics on how that should be lined up? Also, how hard can I push on the shaft to get the connection to seat well? Well I bought a 1996 12 valve 3500 recently. I love the truck. When I test drove it I crawled underneath it with my creeper and looked at the breather hose and there was no blowby. I took the oil cap off and there was VERY little haze and no real blowby. A couple days after I got it home I ran drove the truck and shot a video and there was very very light hazing through the oil cap. I just did my KDP fix and changed the oil. I used Valvoline Premium Blue 15-40 like they sell at the Cummins service centers. The last few days when I run the truck for a few minutes I get some blowby from the o ..read more

Hi, My son has the Quad which reads boost though the Map I believe but I am not sure if it is accurate, I want to add a Mechanical one. I believe I can use a boost bolt any tips on installing this? What bolt does it replace? I know Glowshift has mixed reviews for their Fuel pressure gauge but how is their Boost gauge? Banks? Autometer? any others ? Good Morning, This is on a 2007 Ram 2500 Diesel 5.9 SLT For a few years, I've had an issue with the steering column gear selector in Drive & 2. While driving, I hear a click and the gear is no longer selected. Sometimes it will registered Reverse and my aftermarket back up camera will turn on. Moving the selector arm slightly usually brings back the selection, but it will keep going off. The truck is driveable but it's a bit unerving when this happens. Hi, Looking for suggestions on a Turbo and Injectors, I want the truck to remain reliable and a daily driver but with some more power, Truck will tow a car trailer or snowmobile trailer from time to time. 1998.5 Quad cab auto 4wd, Will be adding head studs. Has the following, Quadzilla tuner Fleece Lift Pump, Industrial injection VP44, S&B Cold air intake, Aftermarket intake horn, 4 Inch MBRP exhaust no muffler. I know…. dumb question. I was thinking the intercooler on my 12 valve had water in it. When I finish driving my truck i have a drip on the driver’s side under my intercooler. There is a little moist spot on the front of it and a wet stain / damp stream running down the inside of the body where the hoses hook up. It’s not spewing or running just a drip drip drip. I pulled the thing off today ( PAIN IN THE ***!!!!) to take it to a radiator shop to weld/braaze. So I didn't see any of the "leaf spring" related posts thay looked relevant or recent enough to post this in. I've had my 93 w250 for about a week and a half now. I'm still trying to inspect it all over to find out what needs to be replace and what can go a little longer without needing to be immediately prioritized.
