I am planning on replacing brakes (pads and rotors) due to wear. I am considering upgrading to Power Stop or Brembo braking system. Has anyone installed an upgraded system in their truck? Was it worth it? What were some issues you experienced ..read more

Hi everyone, new to the group. Please help!!
when decelerating after 40/50kmh and up I get this rubbing sound from rear end.
only starts after a few minutes of driving.
gets worse the longer I drive.
almost certain the diff needs a rebuild as it’s at 316000 kms (196kmiles)
Ring and pinion?
Pinion nut loose? I hear about the recall.
Just want to makes sure it’s not the axel wheel bearings before I swap out for a junk yard rear.
Can’t find any videos or info to confirm it’s not wheel bearings...

I've been searching and found this thread:
https://www.ramforumz.com/threads/radio-wont-shut-off.60410/post-296574
The user who posted had the same symptoms as mine and the issue at hand was resolved by removing the seat belt fuse (#19). This worked for me too, but because I don't like disabling safety features, I'm wanting to confirm if anyone else has seen this and figured out why the seat belt fuse makes that circuit hot.
I suppose I have the task of tracing...

Hey all,
I have a 2016 RAM 1500 5.7 that has developed a pinhole leak in the part where the upper radiator hose attaches to the engine. Not where the large hose attaches, but there's a smaller (5/8?) hose that also attaches there to a nipple. That is where the leak is (I've attached pictures to hopefully make it more clear).
It looks like this piece just bolts onto the engine so I think it should be easy to swap out, but I have no idea what it's called or where to find it - or if...

Hi all. I'm trying to see if anyone has found an option to replace the rubber wiper cowl ends without replacing the whole cowl. I can't find one on rock auto and everywhere else want 400 buck for the whole piece. And solutions are appreciated. See pics. Thank you ..read more

Anyone have recommendations on what to change the rear subwoofer out with that is not going to mess with the Unit? I saw a guy replace it with a 8inch Kicker. I can't find a clear answer or what Ohm it runs. First Ram excited to pick it up today.

Greetings people!
I'm doing a custom rebuild of my '96 Ram 5.9 Magnum 4x4.
I've searched the web high and low and I can't find any headers for my truck.
I see YouTube videos of people putting them on their '96 4x4 with the 5.9.
So now I'm in the middle of my build and I can't find any headers. The shortys don't work very well. I'd like to swap them out for long tubes just to see if I can squeeze any more horsepower out of it. It has the heavy duty tranny. I used to plow snow with this truck...

My '98 2500 V10 5 spd threw a code (P0122) which is low TPS voltage so I replaced the TPS (without testing it first) but It still runs terrible at all RPMs and will not idle. If I let off the gas it dies like I've turned the ignition off. It is not throwing any codes now but still runs terribly.
The TPS is getting 5 Volts and the signal line voltage is 0.67 volts with the throttle in the idle position and 3.64 volts at WOT. I tested the wires with an ohm meter and none are bad or...

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7 engine and I’m trying to diagnose a problem. My scanner / code reader shows code P2181 (cooling system performance), PO430 (bank 2 catalyst efficiency), and PO420 (bank 1 catalyst efficiency). When I checked the coolant level, the truck was about a gallon low. I refilled it and got the truck to operating temperature, but no leaks were seen. However, there was liquid dripping from the tailpipe and white steam or smoke and carbon when revving the engine...
