I have a '78 D-150 for which I had to buy an incorrect brake booster (due to lack of availability of the correct one). I disposed of the old, rotten booster, but now find that I need the longer pedal pushrod that "went away" with it. Does anyone have such a pedal pushrod to sell? I can buy an adjustable brake pushrod kit from Wilwood, but I am concerned about the fact that the pushrod in the kit has no downward curvature at the pedal end. How essential is that contour? I can’t find much info on the service manual . I’ve talked to folks and they point me in the direction of getting a 1971-77and a 1979-1988 or whatever the years are . I’m still learning . They tell me the front half has more to do with one generation and the rear half has more to do with the next . I happen to have just got a 1978 xt wb 360 b200 tradesman .
