I bought an x100 original from a fellow RFF member a few year back and its been everywhere with me, its coming to the end of its working life I feel, anyway, I own an XE-1 and a X-Pro1 but have seen a x100s black edition advertise locally, (at a good price). So what does the x100s offer , give me, that differs from my original X100. Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this ..read more

Hi guys
Do you bother to ‘weather seal’ your x100v? I have a small square hood on the front and if I want to weather seal it needs an extension ring and filter, making the lens a bit longer. I don’t use filters on my RF cameras so don’t want to from that perspective but I’m also not sure I need to because I rarely use my camera in the rain/sand/dust.
Did the previous x100 models suffer from dust ingress enough for me to worry about it or should I just not bother ..read more

Hi folks
I have an x100v and at some point I must have activated the little pup out screen in the corner of the OVF which shows a zoomed in view of the focus point. I can’t see where to turn it off!! Any ideas?
I’ve tried turning off the the ‘focus assist’ setting in the screen settings but that doesn’t work.
Thanks ..read more

My X-100f has started acting up.

I know that the later conversion v.II lenses uses a magnet to ID itself to the camera.
I don’t own these, but thought something like my iPad protector with a magnet may have caused the camera to be confused. However, keeping th ..read more

I'm looking to purchase a low-con filter to give Fuji B/W film simulation additional boost. From what I saw on the net Pro Mist filters give nice semblance of film halation. But I think there's only one or two videos on YT and a couple of photos on flickr to demonstrate this particular camera + film simulation + low con filter trio.
Can anyone share their Acros (preferably high ISO) shots with the use of Pro Mist filters? I'd greatly appreciate that ..read more
