On a trip to another town saw the most beautiful bush display which was all green except for red clusters that looked like berries. I can not find how to do it and thought maybe one of you could help. I have been able to find one picture on the internet to show what I am talking about. I first thought simply changing the bulbs but all the LED seem to be sealed and not changeable. I am hoping I am just looking for the wrong thing. First time poster - thank you for your help ..read more

Permanent pixel mounting - gable end with no overhang

Working on putting permanently mounted pixels around the roofline. Using J-channel under the eaves with good success on most of the house: However, I have one section over the garage that's a gable end with no overhang: Wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to attack this. Since it's permanent I want to keep the wiring hidden. Ideally I'd also like to avoid punching holes in the facia trim but I'm not sure there's any way around that. I... Read more ..read more

want to add some cool LED lighting to my eaves for multi-seasonal lighting effects and there are a TON of products being offered these days. Not looking to sync to a light show (haven't decided if I want to go that route), anyone have any recommendations? I would love it if I could set up patterns that moved like right to left across my house. I figured this is the best community to ask because y'all are amazing ..read more

WS2811 -N- controllers issue ...

This is real weird. FOUR different controllers, multiple sets of WS2811 pixels, some new, tested, and never used. Some older working strings, working props, and even some WS2815 strips ? NO IDEA WHY THIS DOES NOT WORK. WS2811 pixels are 50 node strings as noted above. NEVER had anything like this happen in the past. Controllers: SanDevices (1) 6804 & (2) 682 and Advatek (1) PixLite 16 MkII Long Range AND (2) PixLite MkI controller. The 6804 gives me grief from time to time so... Read more ..read more

This will be my second year and I want to add color changing LED flood/Spot lights on the house. I post awhile back about some cheap Alibaba floods and being able to control them and I never did anything with that. Now I am just looking for suggestions on "affordable" RGB spot/ flood lights that I can control to change color with the show. I don't even know where to start looking. When I search RGB flood or spot lights all I can find are the app controlled lights, and I dont think that is... Read more ..read more
