I have just bought a F56 3 door CAT S 2022 Mini Cooper 1.5 DCT Exclusive with a little over 3k miles The idea being it’s hopefully a cheap way to rob some parts off it for my beloved 64 plate MCS. Are there any Rusty F56 out there? Mine is nearly 10 years old and apart from odd stone chip, the body work is in good nick. Not done anything major maintenance wise to date to preserve the paint, even used the odd car wash some surface rust underneath but again no significant corrosion. this from Oxfordshire not Arizona, not garaged 111,000 miles owned from almost new. Hello friends! I just picked up my 21 Mini SE. (red w/ black roof) I had been looking for a new mini after my 2015 F56 fell into disrepair. Just had my Cooper SD delivered a Thursday. Had a good search around for insurance before it arrived. The cheapest was with Admiral using their littlebox that they fit in your car. Otherwise it's an extra £145 for without. Important point here is it's a lease car. The company that installs the box rang me to arrange appointment but the chap couldn't confirm where the engineer will fit the box. It could be I. The boot, engine bay ie even behind the dash.
