MIDLAND, Texas –  Plans are underway to develop a new sports facility in Midland, Texas, to be located near the Scharbauer Sports Complex. As reported by The Midland Reporter-Telegram, the four acres of city-owned land have been leased out to the Midland Athletic Syndicate (MAS) for a 49-year term with an additional option of a 25-year extension. SALEM, Va.—The City of Salem has received $56,278 from the Virginia Tourism Corporation for the remainder of this calendar year. Salem has now received a total of 12 different grants from VTC since 2020 totaling $186,278. These latest funds will be used for three specific purposes in the city.
