 PITTSBURG, Pa.  — The DICK’S Sporting Goods (DSG) Foundation has announced a new $2 million grant initiative in honor of the 10th anniversary of its Sports Matter Program. The year-long initiative is funded by DSG’s giveback program.   An estimated 215 million Americans witnessed the solar eclipse last Monday, as it traced a path across some of the most populated parts of the country. Unsurprisingly, this coincided with a number of sports events in different parts of the nation. Baseball games in particular seemed to be the best spots to catch the eclipse.
