Hello - First post here. I am picking up my new 2023 V4 factory (time attack) tomorrow. This forum has been a good resource for research prior to the purchase.
I am trading in my Ducati 950 SP Hyper towards the purchase (my first V engine).
The Duc was great but I am doing more track days and think that this will be the best all around choice for street/track.
I have had higher HP than the Hyper in the Past via an in line 4 honda CBR, but not the same torque as the Tuono will provide. I am a torque junkie so think that this is the right choice for me ..read more

Parting this 2004 RSVR. Good motor. Salvage Cali frame with about $800 bucks in back fees. No side fairings but the bol d or upper is pretty clean, with some scuffs on the side. Tank is good but not pretty. I am stealing the ohlins for my Tuono so the touno Sachs is up for sale too.
Let me know what you need.
Will also sell the bike with touno suspension for 2k. I'll throw in free delivery within socal.

Hi to every one,
Recently i buy a sr50 2002 minarelli. All stock.
After i do some kilometers i figured out that it have really good start (from 0 to 20km/h) and than it feels like switch gear (from first to second) and it slowly gain RPM. Is there any option to make rev the firts gear alitle more and than switch to second, if there are two gear or is just the setup for variator /rolers or the clutch (small spring on the clutch and the big one).
Thanks for all the ideas and guide lines.

The story so far: This 2014 had been sitting in an apartment complex lot where a friend of mine lives for going on two months. Never moved. If it didn't look so unloved I'd reckon it would of been stolen.
Two days ago my friend sees the owner. He's in the military and recently got transferred here (Augusta, GA) from Texas. The bike had sat in TX for months at a friends before this. Long story short the guy has lost interest in it after hacking around on it and is transitioning into becoming a DJ. My friend has some equipment the guy really wants and they work out a trade. He asked me to look ..read more

2022 tuono v4 fitted with the akrapovic carbon fibre exhaust, baffle in and gabro race map.
Its running pretty good and loving the overall performance, HOWEVER, a tad noisy for me!!!
Ive been looking at posts on here about changing the baffle, although i do like the original looking,
so i have now fitted and adapted a baffle to fit in the end of the link pipe, between the link pipe and base of the
slip on can. The diameter of the baffle is the same as the akrapovic baffle fitted, 42/43mm diameter, and has quietened
down the noise level considerably, I LIKE! Another however thou, with the gabro ..read more

Okay everyone,
Here is the story: I have a 2014 RSV4 1000 r APRC, Now I have owned the bike for about 2 months now. The first month the bike ran absolutely great I had no issues what so ever with the bike. About a month into owning the bike I ran into a issue the first sign that I got was that the bike would start to idle really low when just starting the bike cold. One day I started the bike cold and left it for about 2 mins and the Urgent Service Warning popped up and my bike revved up and down between 2000 - 4000 RPMS I immediately turned the bike off and looked up all sorts of things but ..read more

Relieved to find that the valves at 16K are all in spec and haven't changed since the last inspection at 7K. Adjusting takes a bit more work (at least for me) accessing the cam chain tensioners and dealing w/ the rear balancer gear.
Accessing the 2 front/left side valve cover bolts required dropping the radiator and oil tank, but overall the job was fairly easy for someone like me who's not a trained mechanic.
